Job Description

As a Human Resources Graduate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions within the Europe and India regions of our organisation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a HR graduate to gain practical experience and contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives. Under the guidance of experienced HR professionals, you will rotate around the different Centres of Excellence gaining experience in;

  • HR Operations

  • Talent Acquisition

  • Talent Management

  • Employee Relations

  • Total Reward and

  • Employee Experience.

This role will provide an excellent opportunity to develop a wide range of skills to enable you to progress into either a HR generalist or HR specialist future role.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Total Reward COE with the delivery of compensation and benefits programmes and activities.

  • Support the learning and development of our Employees working closely alongside our Talent Management and Early Careers teams.

  • Work with our Talent Acquisition team to source new talent for the business.

  • Work alongside the Employee Relations team to support a range of ER cases and activity.

  • Support Employee Experience programmes as well as EDI activities and accreditations.

  • Deliver Operational HR for the business supporting on change projects, performance and reward cycles, promotions projects, line manager development and reporting.

  • Undertake any other duties or projects as assigned by the HR Manager or HR team.

On the job support and learning

When a graduate starts at AECOM, we pair them with a senior member of the team who will guide and mentor them through their initial period working on live projects and business development tasks, to support with any technical queries.

Graduate Development Programme

Our 2 year graduate ADVANCE programme is designed to help you build your career in AECOM. You will attend a number of instructor-led training sessions where you will meet and hear from people across the business and take part in a series of interactive activities to equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in your role. Qualifications

Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • A relevant HR degree or qualification affiliated with a recognised professional HR body.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent attention to detail, and ability to record and present data accurately and professionally.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage time effectively.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate and present at all levels.

  • Solid numeracy skills, confidence in working with large data sets and competent user of Excel;

  • Ability to work flexibly under pressure, responding to changing project and programme demands. Problem solving abilities. Self-starter, who can design and deliver work under their own initiative

Desirable but not essential:

Previous experience working in a HR environment, including work placements or relevant voluntary experience; Willingness to travel
