About Our Team:

With a successful and expanding service line in place, we are looking for individuals with commercial and contractual capability (preferably, but not essentially, membership of RICS, APM, CIMA or similar). The service is a commercially-driven, financially-focussed provider of confidence, value for money and process improvement solutions across all sectors.

The successful individual will ideally have to experience within a consulting environment, a passion for enhancing the delivery of projects and programmes as well as the ambition to rapidly take on responsibility and help develop the service line. They will need to have the ability to create and build strong relationships with stakeholders of all levels of seniority at AECOM, and with their clients. There is a fantastic opportunity to develop a broad and interesting consultancy skillset within a supportive and friendly environment.

Job Responsibilities:

You will need to be from a consultancy or client organisation with the ability to take ownership of a stream of activity and the responsibility for timely delivery, through to the presentation of results. The role will require the successful individual to be confident in liaising with, and presenting to, both clients and contractors as well as managing and extracting information from third parties. Typical tasks and activities will include:

  • Detailed analysis and assessments of cost data against contractual/commercial principles

  • Appraisal of cost/commercial management systems and process

  • Cost, performance and process risk assessment

  • Process improvement with commercial risk assessment

  • Report development and presentation

  • Internal and external marketing/development of the service line

Travel Expectations

There will be travel required will be based on the client and engagement programme, although typically more travel is required at the beginning of the engagement and then becomes intermittent throughout the engagement lifecycle.

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant degree or professional qualification

  • Work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative

  • The ability to understand, manage and interpret data from a range of sources

  • Highly capably withy with MS Office tools, especially, Excel, PowerPoint, and with experience of working with Power BI and Visio.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Driving licence
