Job Summary

The

Assistant Bridges Inspector reports to the Bridges Inspector and is responsible for assistance in bridge works quality control and reporting activities with regard to the project. He/ She represents the Bridges Inspector in all discussions regarding construction and quality issues in discussions with the Client, progress meetings throughout the duration of the project, and communications regarding all bridge works quality matters with Contractors and other parties associated with the project.

And will assist in managing and overseeing the planning, design, contracting, construction and acceptance of the bridges works on the project

Job Duties :

  • Responsibilities will be in the areas of quality control, compliance with design etc.

  • He/she will be responsible for reporting all measures required to control the bridges quality issues

  • He/she will examine compliance with design, quality of works and billing documents submitted by the contractor, variation orders, if any, and will prepare the progress reports as per the project requirements.

Specific Skills Required :

  • Basic working knowledge of FIDIC contracts or similar

  • Computer knowledge EXCEL, WORD

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience involving quality control, contract documentation management etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering field (i.e. Civil, Structural etc.) - preferred
