Job Summary

AECOM are continuing to expand their successful and established Development team in Ireland and have an immediate vacancy in their Limerick Office.

The AECOM Development team has an established track record of successfully delivering high profile development schemes, offering staff the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting Local, National and International projects.

The Cork based multi-disciplinary capability is being offered to our wide range of existing clients which includes developers, retailers, land owners, house builders, corporate entities, blue chip companies and Universities.

The successful canditate will be responsible for preparing 2D and 3D CAD drawings to support civil and transport engineering activities for the Development Team. Includes planning, design, tender and construction phases of development projects for water/sewage systems, water supply, roads plans and sections etc.

Our Development Engineering team currently has a vacancy for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Civil Technician with minimum experience of development engineering projects. Typical duties will include the technical drafting | modelling of storm and foul drainage networks, watermain networks, earthworks, roads and carparks for housing, industrial and commercial developments using autoCAD 2D and 3D.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum relevant work experience in a design role with specific design experience in some/all of the following:

  • Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems

  • Storm and foul gravity collection networks

  • Storm and foul rising pumping stations and rising mains

  • Watermain distribution pipelines

  • Attenuation and flow control elements

  • Road and Pavement design including working knowledge of DMURS.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoTrack or similar drafting packages.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Candidates should have the following experience and qualifications; Hold a Level 7 degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Suitably qualified and enthusiastic Civil Engineer with minimum experience of development engineering projects.
