AECOM Building Surveyor in Dublin, Ireland

Job Summary

If you are still on your journey towards your professional qualification, we will support you via our structured training programme, AECOM’s ADVANCE programme for graduate development, and through extensive mentoring, tutoring and shadowing opportunities. We provide extensive support in your journey to your final assessment interview. Our UK and Ireland building surveying leaders will participate in multiple mock assessment of professional competence interviews and Q&A sessions with you to aid you in your preparation for your assessment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Be passionate about Building Surveying, developing a team and furthering your career with a leading construction consultancy.

  • Have an open willingness to support developing surveyors and respond to their questions.

  • Be a strong leader and communicator.

  • Be looking for the next step in building surveying leadership.

  • Be a role model to the team, setting high standards and expectations.

  • You will be able to communicate clearly and concisely and you will have solid report writing abilities.

  • Ideally, you will have experience using iPads/tablets to capture data during surveys and of delivering reports via a range of software options.

  • You will have excellent Microsoft Office software skills and be proficient in use of Word and Excel in particular.

  • You will be proficient in the use of AutoCAD or other drawing software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Be educated to at least degree level or equivalent, in a Building Surveying RICS/SCSI accredited degree

  • Some experience in delivering the following building surveying core services:

  • Dilapidations

  • Technical due diligence

  • Surveys

  • A clear work history and proof of professional development and learning
