Job Summary
We are searching for a Senior Project Manager here at AECOM within the LSE Rail business.
We have large number of existing projects and a number of new wins anticipated in 2020.
Aecom has also been requested supply additional project management support to the mega project NEOM.
Role:
Leading AECOM Rail projects including planning for and the ongoing management of scope, cost, quality, risk, safety, health and environment issues
Representing AECOM with clients for projects under responsibility;
Working within the AECOM project management system using AECOM specified project management tools and procedures to deliver projects;
Project planning, including developing and executing project executions plans for all projects under responsibility;
Leading cross-discipline project teams, building team capability and stakeholder confidence.
Managing the flow of information between the AECOM teams, client and stakeholders
Monitoring and applying performance management techniques, including the use of KPI’s (e.g. EVA, etc.) to improve project performance.
Managing the change control process.
Ensuring the production of formal progress and other reports to project directorate and AECOM management.
Mentoring junior project management staff
Working within a Project Management Team.
Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects.
Consistently delivers profit margins planned.
Consistently completes project without write-downs or multiplier erosion.
Typically manages projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors).
Manages more complex clients and projects.
Has decision-making authority and directs other Project Managers in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such.
Directs staff to operate and minimize exposure to claims.
Supervises and directs Project Managers with multiple projects or program of projects.
Minimum Requirements
B.Eng in engineering
Preferred Qualifications
C.Eng- Chartered status
