We are currently recruiting for the role of BIM Manager (Bentley Transportation) , this position is responsible for managing the implementation of BIM and Information Management on transportation projects for Enterprise Capabilities.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• BIM Implementation Strategy – develop BIM Implementation strategy & deliver complex international Bentley transport projects

• Bentley ProjectWise Management – establish & administer ProjectWise & support efficient management of multi-stakeholder projects

• Project Management – coordinate BIM execution & project delivery with project leadership

• BIM Execution – create & maintain the project’s industry framework docs: BEP, MIDP, MPDT, appendices etc

• Technical Support – establish data integrated workflows for transportation projects & provide support, guidance & training to project teams

• Digital Technology & Content Management – oversee the production of smart object content, templates & Bentley Component Library in the context of the project, deploy the use of AECOM’s content management systems onto projects and manage the best practice use of Bentley digital technology for collaboration, coordination & delivery

• Quality – establish & administer the digital quality assurance control procedures

• Collaboration – be an ambassador for global-group-working with AECOM region project teams, EC office PG teams & other EC Digital departments

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Experience delivering BIM data for Civil and Structural design from BIM software in one or more of the following software: Bentley OpenBridge, Bentley OpenRoads, Bentley OpenRail, Bentley Rail Track, Bentley OpenBuildings, Generative Components

• Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 19650 framework and related BIM standards

• Experience managing and delivering project information on multidisciplinary Transportation projects with geographically dispersed teams

• ProjectWise – Working knowledge of ProjectWise Setup, and administration. Experienced liaising with ProjectWise Support Team

• iTwin – Expert knowledge in Design Review associated workflow

• Working knowledge of the design process of the various transport disciplines, bridges, roads, rail, drainage & utilities

• 6 to 10 years of industry experience in the BIM and Digital Delivery field

• Demonstratable portfolio of BIM for Transportation projects

• Knowledge on cross-platform usage Bentley to Autodesk (Civil 3D/Revit)

• International experience working with global project teams. Experience working on projects in any of the following locations: USA, UK, Australia, Canada, will be considered favourable.

• Communication - Fluent in English (oral and written), a team player and mentor, and exceptional interpersonal skills

Professional Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Design Technology or Construction Technology, or a related discipline project execution or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience.

• 6 to 10 years of industry experience in the BIM and Digital Delivery field
