Job Description
AECOM Buildings and Places Spain is a dynamic, multidisciplinary practice driven by innovation and collaboration. We integrate sustainable solutions into everything we do and approach every project with a high-performance design strategy.
Our team, as part of the continued growth of our business, is looking to hire a Senior Architect to further develop her/his experience in delivering Hospitality projects .
As a Senior Architect you will be involved in various projects, having client's interaction throughout different stages: Feasibility, Preconstruction including design, permitting, contractor procurement and construction.
Working within a dynamic, highly motivated, and driven team, you will be part of our project delivery, mentoring our junior staff and developing our future architects.
We expect you to take responsibility for generating a passion and enthusiasm for delivering excellent design and project performance in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
You will provide the creative direction to the team, coaching and supporting the team members.
Qualifications

Minimum requirements:
Bachelor or master’s degree in Architecture.
At least, around 8 years of experience delivering Hospitality Projects within local and international context. Specialization in Hospitality projects will be essential.
Previous experience working within BIM environment, using Revit for producing or coordinating documentation.
Fluent English and Spanish languages. Other languages such as French or German will be a plus.
Good knowledge in the life cycle of a construction project.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate, versatile and strategic Architect, advancing AECOM’s objectives through strong project management and client engagement.
Also, you will be an engaging and compelling communicator, both verbally and written, as well as technically astute, with a very strong client focus.
We expect you to be excited to work both, worldwide and locally for design-driven, market-responsive, and sustainable solutions.
