If so, we are looking for an experienced Fire Engineer to join our team of Fire Engineers to work at Engineer level nationwide and be based in our London Campus (London or St Albans). You will be joining a team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.

About Our Team:
AECOM Fire Engineering has a global team of fire consultants working on landmark projects throughout the world. You will join our fire engineers that have a diverse range of experience and training which equips them to deal with all aspects of fire engineering, including structural fire engineering, smoke ventilation design, and academic research projects.
The team have the unique combination of design, technical expertise and experience to deliver functional and innovative design solutions. You will assist the team of consultants by applying your skills and commercial acumen to deliver functional, cost-effective, pragmatic design solutions targeted to suit the specific needs of our clients on a diversity of sectors.
You will need to be from a consultancy or client organisation with the ability to Lead medium to large projects and support senior directors by carrying out the following:
Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer
Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures
Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tasks
Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered
Identifies discrepancies in results
Provides guidance to entry level engineers
Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision
Relevant degree or professional qualification
Work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business
Chartership (or be working towards) with the Institute of Fire Engineers (or relevant Institution)
A clear work history and proof of professional development and learning
A degree in Fire Engineering (however other relevant subjects would also be considered)
