AECOM Logistics Management Analyst in Mannheim, Germany

Job Summary

Purpose: The Logistics Management Analyst (LMA) is responsible for supply wholesale and retail reporting and data management for the U.S. Army Prepositioned Stocks 2 (APS-2). Responsible for Inventory Control and management of Government equipment. The Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS) Analysts are responsible for the synchronization of AWRDS and LMP operations; provides asset visibility by unit and type; integrates/manages data and reports; and coordinates with the 405th AFSBn-Germany Accountable Officer to ensure property/equipment is in the proper state of readiness and available for re-issue to units.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily.

  1. Perform research using Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS), including Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), receipt processing, inventory adjustments, equipment receipts from the Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) and create Material Release Orders (MROs).

  2. Analyze/track property, determine proper accountability and provide visibility of property by unit and type.

  3. Ability to analyze data and perform causative research.

  4. Validate and process all inventory adjustment documentation.

  5. Perform data entry and verification of monthly cyclic and sensitive inventories.

  6. Manage reports for APS-2 supply in adjustments to configurations in AWRDS and LMP.

  7. Ship equipment from an active retrograde plan into a transit plan upon receipt of the authorized signed/stamped (DD Form 1348)

  8. Act as the primary communication link, integrates/manages sensitive data and reports.

  9. Process all receiving, shipping and equipment issue documentation.

  10. Provide supply/readiness data integrity and validate data entry in LMP/AWRDS.

  11. Coordinate with Headquarters to ensure property/equipment is in the proper state of accountability as determined by the Government for re-issue to the gaining unit or other entity as required.

  12. Maintain all information at no less than 90% accuracy unless otherwise stipulated.

  13. Generate all required supply related reports, charts, graphs, data calls.

  14. Work in conjunction with other supply personnel to accomplish all required taskings or inventories.

  15. Provide timely, accurate and relevant information to the Operations leadership and/or Government personnel as required.

  16. Maintain a daily timesheet and daily manning report and ensuring times are accurate.

Minimum Requirements

Qualification & Experience Requirements: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

  1. A bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of recent specialized experience; OR 7 years of recent APS specialized experience. 10 years of specialized experience with the Military or defense contractor training on U.S. Army supply systems. Familiarity with military equipment, automation systems related to Class VII accountability critical.

  2. U.S. Citizenship

  3. U.S. SECRET Security Clearance

  4. LMP Certification

  5. GCSS-Army Certification

  6. At least two years of Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS) experience along with the ability to provide skilled analysis of data prepared and presented.

  7. At least 5 years of Logistics Moderation Program (LMP) experience along with the ability to provide skilled analysis of data prepared and presented

  8. APS knowledge and experience

  9. Possess strong knowledge of MRO's, Hand Receipts, IARs and other Army Supply documentation.

  10. Must have strong organizational and planning skills.

  11. Must have basic knowledge in the use of MS Office, including Word and Excel, Outlook and other related applications.

  12. Must be able to function with an advanced level of English oral and written language skills.

  13. Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.

  14. Must be able to meet and maintain all LIS access requirements (Common Access Card).

Specialized knowledge and skills:

  1. Must be able to qualify for and operate Government provided light vehicles if required

  2. Expertise in Microsoft Office, with prior intensive database and data management skills

  3. Analytical skills commensurate to the effort

  4. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact well with the customer and with employees at all levels

  5. The appropriate verbal and written communications skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, prepare reports, plans, and working instructions
