AECOM Civil BIM Engineer in Milan, Italy

AECOM is actively seeking an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Civil Engineer for immediate employment in Milan to assist the local team with design work and field work on varied building types.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Design of structures, for housing, commercial, hospitals and airports facilities.
Contribute to the independent technical review of analyses prepared by others
Have a desire to learn new skills and the ability to consider the wider engineering issues related to the work being undertaken
Participation in the technical and design process of the project from preparation of brief, concept design, through detailed and final phases of the design, construction and handover
Adhering to confident robust and well managed design process strictly adhering to the budget
Liaise with internal and external design consultants, AECOM network, commercial, procurement to assist with production of scope and fees for the design team and specialist work packages
Co-ordinate technical, design and external Client issues with the design and construction teams
Provide technical guidance, planning and logistic information for bids and tenders
Involvement with the Client contact during the design development phase and into the construction phase
Master’s degree in an appropriate Civil engineering discipline
2+ years of experience with an engineering firm designing for Housing, commercial, industrial or infrastructures
Available for short – medium term deployment in other AECOM offices or client premises in Italy
International design experience
Cost estimating experience
Professional experience working with a design consulting firm
Design experience in a BIM environment
