As part of either role, you will be expected to
support to the team on complex projects;
bringing analytical skills and specialist knowledge to our world-class client base;
contribute to proposals and other business development activity.
Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
Identifies discrepancies in results.
Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
A technical consultant in the Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) disciplines;
A Sustainability consultant.
A Masters, or equivalent qualification in sustainability, international development or related fields is preferred.
Professional experience in Sustainability sectors;
Prior consulting experience is highly desirable, but not a prerequisite.
Experience in risk management.
For the HSE/ESG area, experience in one or more of the following tasks:
EHS/ESG due diligence and/or auditing, EHS/ESG management systems and related international standards, equator principles;
EIA. ESHIA, Landscape study, Environmental study;
For the Sustainability and Climate Change area, experience in one or more of the following tasks:
LCA, Energy, emission trading, climate change;
Direct sustainability role, or external sustainability advisory role; climate risk assessment and management; Sustainability KPI, risk management generally.
A university technical degree in engineering or others technical discipline;
Critical thinking, intellectual curiosity and problem solving abilities;
Ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams;
Strong personal initiative, agility and resourcefulness; and
Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is desirable
