We are looking to grow our multi-disciplinary administration team in Nottingham and currently have an opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join us.
Our administration team, work across a wide range of environmental sectors providing a full range of administration services.
The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team based in the Nottingham office with support to the regional teams. In addition good organisation and planning skills are also required to support a team which works safely and to a high technical standard. The candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills as they may be dealing with surveyors and clients on project work.
Their initial role will support and assist our Environment & Ground Engineering administration lead on a wide variety of projects and tasks.
Typical responsibilities will include:
Sub-contractor set ups
Scheduling and minuting meetings
Arranging car hires, Travel and accommodation requests
Organising internal and external meetings including meeting room bookings, video conferences etc.
Organising refreshments and required facilities
Equipment management including ordering, distribution, maintenance
Ability to record data efficiently and methodically with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and report writing skills with computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel
A hard working and highly motivated individual
Must be capable of producing work on time and to high standards of accuracy
Competency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Client focused with good interpersonal skills and team approach
Willing and able to visit other locations on company business (if necessary)
Able to demonstrate a commitment to continued education and improvement through participating in our approved training scheme
Creative, practical, adaptable and enthusiastic
Ability to structure & prioritise work effectively through close cooperation with the team as a whole
Ability to work in a team and independently without losing initiative & focus
