AECOM Safe Work Planner in Nottingham, United Kingdom

Job Summary

Reporting to the Responsible Manager, the SWP is responsible for ensuring that the SSoW hierarchy is adhered to and that works are planned in the most effective and efficient way.

Duties:

Produces Safe Work Pack to NR/L2/OHS/019

Produces associated TBS where required

Ensures that safety critical names are forwarded to NR where required

Produces Task based RA from information supplied in the WPP

Ensures that packs are entered onto the SWP register

Minimum Requirements

The planner shall produce the Safe Work Pack in accordance with the requirements of NR/L2/OHS/

  • Minimum of 2 years railway experience

  • Holds PTS competence

  • Minimum of 18 years of age

  • Good understanding of English Language and Literacy

  • Holds SSoW Planner competency

  • COSS/PIC – optional but preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Ensures that Safe Work pack are sent in a timely manner to internal and external safety critical staff other duties as directed by the ODM or Responsible Manager
