Job Description

Our Transport team in Stockholm is growing and we are looking to hire a new colleague, an Engineer interested in making his/her career at Tunnelling and Geotechnical field, working within a team for Infrastructure and Transport international projects.

Some of the functions in the role will be :

  • Processes geotechnical data for ground interpretation, geotechnical assessment and report preparation.

  • Geotechnical designs: excavations, retaining structures, earthworks, soil improvement/reinforcement, foundations, stability and settlement analysis…)

  • Geotechnical calculations, specifications and drawings.

  • Working in relationship with other geographies.


We are looking to hire a professional with:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Civil, Geological or similar Engineering.

  • At least, 3 years of experience as Geotechnical Engineer.

  • International exposure, collaborating in Tunnel and/or Geotechnical projects.

  • Experience in Nordics will be considered favorably.

  • English fluent and Swedish advanced , spoken and written.

  • Familiar with software applications: PLAXIS 2D/3D.GEOSLOPE, ROCSCIENCE, PHASE2, FINE(GEO5). RIDO, CYPE (Embedded retaining walls / Steel sheet pilings). AutoCAD, Excel, Presto.

  • Knowledge in some European Standards: Spanish codes, AASHTO / ACI / ASTM, Eurocodes, SBC, Swedish standards.

Personal skills we are looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills (both speaking and writing).

  • Teamwork. Ability to work on technically demanding projects in different cultural environments.

  • Learning ability. Interest in achieving a high specialization in Geotechnics and/or Tunnelling.
