Job Summary

Due to the continued growth and expansion of our Nuclear Power & Decommissioning Team in Warrington, we are looking to increase our technical workforce and are seeking to recruit an Engineering Technician.

This is an exciting time for the Nuclear Power & Decommissioning team, with an interesting and expanding pipeline of both international and UK based projects.

Working in project teams under a Lead Technician you will be responsible for the production of General Arrangement and detail drawings for new nuclear facilities or the refurbishment/modification of existing plants. REVIT is the primary BIM tool of choice supplemented by Auto Cad, including the Civil package, and 3D RC packages as necessary.

You will be responsible for the delivery and quality of your drawings and will be working within an ISO90001 accredited system.

Experience of a wide variety of materials is expected along with a specialism in the production of RC Details or Steelwork.

Minimum Requirements

To be successful in this role you will;

  • Have working experience in at least one of the following drawing platforms Revit, Autocad, Civil 3D, CADS RC, Tekla and willing to engage with new drawing platform technologies.

  • Be competent in the ability to prepare drawings in a wide variety of construction materials including Concrete, Steelwork and Masonry

  • Be able to produce work in a consistent manner in accordance with nuclear processes and procedures with an amount of supervision.

  • Knowledge of relevant codes and procedures associated with preparing drawings. (Familiarisation with American detailing requirements is desired but not essential).

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Full UK driving license or equivalent that permits driving in the UK.

  • Able to meet the requirements for security clearance in the UK.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ONC/HNC/TEC Diploma Qualifications.

  • GCSEs including Maths, English and Science based subjects.
