Job Description
We are currently recruiting Civil 3D Grading/Surface Modeler with experience in Grading and Earthworks modeling of dams, mines and/or water reservoirs to join our busy and expanding experienced team. You may have the opportunity to work with some of the most hi-tech Dams & Mining groups within AECOM, providing support from Enterpise Capabilities, being part of a diverse and multicultural team. It can be a great opportunity for an Engineer/Designer that wants to boost his/her professional career on Dams and Mining fields on an international environment, with a great opportunity to learn new Digital software platforms.
The responsibilities of this role include:
Work is accomplished autonomously being an extension of the AECOM Home Office team working remotely from Spain.
Ability to process and interpret data from different sources: survey, field measurements, LiDAR, drilling logs, etc.
Creates advanced Grading and Earthworks modeling of dams, mines and/or water reservoirs.
Understands and manages Geologic Mapping.
Performs a self-check of work products prior to submitting to others and participates in quality control reviews of documentation originated by equally or less experienced staff.
Works in a team-based environment that involves coordination with colleagues based in different offices.
Performs the responsibilities under limited supervision.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and personal resilience to working to strict timelines/different styles of leadership.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
+6-year experience working as Civil 3D Modeler on Civil projects, preferable related to dams, mines and water reservoirs.
Advanced knowledge in grading and surface modeling using Civil 3D software.
Experience working with geological mapping will be considered favourable.
Communicative level of English (oral and written).
Experienced using common data environments Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360) and Bentley ProjectWise.
Experience working on international projects (USA, Canada and/or Australia) will be considered favourable.
